Hi, I'm Jegathpriyan, known by many as @jegathvijay , a passionate visual storyteller who believes that the best stories aren't always spoken... they're felt. Here's a glimpse into how my journey unfolded — frame by frame:

2016 - The First Step

I picked up my camera and began freelancing in candid wedding photography and videography.

2017 - 2019 - Cinematic Foundations

Joined Micset as a cinematographer, contributing to their creative storytelling and visual identity while learning the pace, pressure, and precision of viral digital content (8.3M+ YouTube subscribers!).
Also worked as the cinematographer for the short film “Karma Oru Veysi”, my first true foray into fictional visual narrative.

2019 - Birth of Recits By Jegath

Fueled by a growing passion, I founded Recits by Jegath — a visual storytelling brand focused on event photography, cinematic shoots, and creative storytelling. From small moments to big memories, this became my way of translating emotion into timeless frames.

2020 - Creative Explosion

With the world on pause during the pandemic, I leaned into reels, content creation, and video editing — connecting with clients through digital intimacy and narrative creativity.

2024 - Present

I took a bold step and launched Recits by Jegath – Europe edition, now offering my services in France and across Europe while still staying rooted in India.
I’ve also started exploring the realm of AI-enhanced photography, combining technology with raw emotion for modern storytelling.
